DAY 1 Departure We depart Australia today on our flights to South Africa.
DAY 2 Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
On our arrival into Johannesburg airport this morning we transfer to our connecting flight to Victoria Falls Airport. On arrival we are transferred to Hwange National Park and our Safari Lodge. Named after a local Nhanzwa chief, Hwange National Park is the largest Park in Zimbabwe, occupying roughly 14,650 square kilometers. It is located in the northwest corner of the country about one hour south of the mighty Victoria Falls. It became the royal hunting grounds to the Ndebele warrior-king Mzilikazi in the early 19th century and was set aside as a National Park in 1929. Hwange boasts a tremendous selection of wildlife with over 100 species of mammals and nearly 400 bird species recorded. The elephants of Hwange are world famous and the Park’s elephant population is one of the largest in the world.
DAY 3 Hwange National Park
Today we have our first safari at Hawnage national Park. We will hopefully see the ‘Big 5’ – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. We’ll also see many varieties of colourful birds Our experienced guide will help us spot hard-to see animals, so we make the most of the safari.
DAY 4 Hwange National Park
Our second day on safari in the Hwange National Park is sure to be another day of great wildlife sightseeing and memorable experiences. This afternoon we have an opportunity to experience life in an African village with a cultural tour with local villagers.
DAY 5 Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
This morning we travel to Victoria Falls and enjoy a sightseeing tour. Victoria Falls are among the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. The Zambezi River, which is more than 2 km wide at this point, plunges noisily down a series of basalt gorges and raises an iridescent mist that can be seen more than 20 km away. A great day to experience one of the major natural wonders of the world.
DAY 6 Victoria Falls
Today is a free day to explore the Victoria Falls area.
DAY 7 Victoria Falls
A free day to explore the Falls area. Perhaps try riding the rapids down the Zambezi River or try bungee jumping off the bridge over the Zambezi River. Or go into town and explore and meet the locals.
DAY 8 Cape Town
Today we fly to the City of Cape Town, South Africa. Known as the “Mother City”, Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa. Perched between the ocean and Table Mountain, with a national park as its heart, there is nowhere like Cape Town. On arrival we will be transferred to our hotel.
DAY 9 Cape Town
On arrival we join our local guide, who will take us on a sightseeing tour to see many fabulous sights such as the imposing brick and stucco Houses of Parliament, the Victoria and Alfred dock area, and the Bo-Kaap area, where the Cape Malays live in brightly-coloured cube houses dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. We take the cable car up Table Mountain for wonderful views of Table Bay, the city and the sea (weather permitting). Later we check in to our hotel.
DAY 10 Cape Town
Today we will enjoy a full day tour to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, the most southwesterly tip of Africa. These promontories were key beacons for the early explorers and are the source of many myths and legend. At the Cape we will visit the famous lighthouse first erected in 1860. En route we will visit Simons Town, a pretty coastal town which is South Africa’s main naval base and consists of lovely Victorian buildings, quaint streets and walkways and a fascinating history.
DAY 11 Embarkation
Today we are transferred to the port to board the MSC Splendida for our cruise up the west coast to Namibia.
DAY 12 At Sea
A free day to enjoy the facilities of the ship.
DAY 13 Walvis Bay, Namibia
Walvis Bay is a small port on the Skeleton Coast of Namibia and the gateway to the Namib Desert. Sheltered by the Pelican Point sand spit, its tidal lagoon is home to abundant birdlife including flamingos, pelicans and Damara terns. The harbour is busy with fishing boats and ships. Dolphins, whales and Cape fur seals inhabit the Atlantic waters around the Pelican Point Lighthouse. Take a tour into the desert or explore the curio markets, craft shops, art galleries, museums and the beachfront.
DAY 14 At sea
A free day to enjoy the facilities of the ship. Perhaps take a dance class or just relax by the pool.
DAY 15 Disembarkation
After disembarking the MSC Splendida we are transferred to the airport for our flights back to Australia.
DAY 16 Australia
Today we arrive in Australia and the tour concludes.

Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
TOUR OPERATOR:
Cruise Offers Value Holidays (a division of Travelrite International Pty Ltd – ABN 64 005 817 078) is the tour organiser.
TOUR COSTS:
The tour costs are based on airfare, shipping, general transport, accommodation costs and foreign exchange rates at 1 February 2023. Cruise Offers Value Holidays reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:
A deposit of $1,000 per passenger is required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 92 days before departure of the tour from Australia. A 1.5% administration fee will be charged for payment by Visa, Mastercard and AMEX cards.
AIR TAXES:
Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth as listed in the itinerary. Please contact us for air taxes from different cities. Air taxes are valid as at 1 February 2023. If they change due to government and airline charges and currency variations, Cruise Offers Value Holidays reserves the right to charge additional amounts.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS: Number of days before sailing.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS AND CONDITIONS:
The tour has been priced on the basis of a minimum number of passengers having booked 90 days prior to departure. Travelrite International reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of all monies paid or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified cost.
TOUR ORGANISATION:
Cruise Offers Value Holidays reserves the right to change the advertised itinerary if necessary if there are contingency issues with airlines, cruise companies and other organisations.
REFUNDS:
The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals, airfare or other services not utilized after the tour has commenced.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
All passengers will require a valid passport with at least six months validity from your return date. Visas will be required for Zimbabwe for Australia passport holders which are available on arrival at Victoria Falls.
BAGGAGE:
All passengers qualify for the 20kg free baggage allowance.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.

Travelrite International acts only as an agent in the making of arrangements for hotels, transportation, restaurants or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company or person rendering any services included in the tour, or by act of God. Further no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery break-down, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. The passage contract between the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of this tour and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour and/or make such changes in the tour as may be found desirable or necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the tour. This contract shall be construed in accordance of the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be taken in the State of Victoria. DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite International to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which Travelrite International reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite International any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite International in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite International advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such good or service may become required.
