This morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour of this historic city with a local guide. We will see sights such as the Nymphenburg Palace, the summer residence of the royal family, the Old Town with Marienplatz and its famous Glockenspiel carillon, the farmers market, City Palace and Opera as well as the cathedral. Our tour concludes at lunchtime and the remainder of the day is free for you to explore Munich. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 4 Thursday 6 August, 2020 Salzburg, Austria
The morning is free to further explore Munich. In the early afternoon, we will be transferred by coach to Salzburg, the city of Mozart, Silent Night and The Sound of Music. On arrival we will check into our hotel. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 5 Friday 7 August, 2020 Salzburg
This morning we will have a tour of Salzburg with a local guide, including a visit to Mozart's Birthplace in the Getreidegasse. You will also see historical landmarks such as the Trick Fountains, the Hellbrunn Palace, Mozart's House, and the Fortress Hohensalzburg. On conclusion of the tour there will be free time. This evening you may like to attend one of the popular Mozart concerts. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 6 Saturday 8 August, 2020 Salzburg
A free day to further explore the picturesque Salzburg. You may like to attend a Sound of Music Tour (optional) and be shown some of the places where the famous film was made. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 7 Sunday 9 August, 2020 Embarkation
The morning is free for last minute exploration of Salzburg. In the early afternoon, we are transferred to Engelhartszell where we will embark the A-ROSA DONNA for our cruise on the beautiful Danube River. Meals Included: Breakfast & Dinner
Day 8 Monday 10 August, 2020 Vienna, Austria
This afternoon we arrive into Vienna, with its unique blend of imperial traditions and stunning architecture. You may like to take an excursion and see Vienna's most historically significant sights, such as the State Opera, the Hofburg Palace, the former winter residence of the Hapsburgs, the Parliament, St Stephens Cathedral, which is known for its vast roof of glittering tiles, and the wide boulevards befitting an Imperial City. We remain docked overnight in Vienna. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 9 Tuesday 11 August, 2020 Vienna
Another day for you to explore Vienna. Take an excursion to visit the Schonbrunn Palace and Gardens, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the former summer residence of the imperial family that takes its name from a beautiful spring that was found on the sight. Leopold 1 started building the grand baroque residence here in 1695. Half a century later, Maria Theresa transformed it to become a glittering focus of court life. It remains the premier architectural, cultural and historic monument in Austria. The extensive gardens feature fountains and statues framed by trees and alleyways. Day 10 Wednesday 12 August, 2020 Esztergom/Budapest, Hungary
Esztergom is Hungary's most sacred town, the seat of the Archbishop of Hungary. Esztergom's massive basilica, sitting high above the town and Danube River, is an incredible sight, rising out of what seems like nowhere in a rural stretch of country. But Esztergom's attraction goes deeper than the domed structure: the country's first king, St Stephen, was born here in 975. It was a royal seat from the late 10th to the mid-13th centuries, as well as the seat of Roman Catholicism in Hungary for more than a thousand years. You will have a couple of hours this morning to explore this attractive town. We then continue to Budapest, arriving in the mid-afternoon. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 11 Thursday 13 August, 2020 Budapest, Hungary
As the capital of Hungary, Budapest is often called the ‘Paris of the East' and is a highlight for travellers from far and wide. Explore the city and discover the famous monuments located on the street Andrássy út, such as the Opera, Hero's Square, the famous undercover market, St. Stephen's church, which is the largest synagogue in Europe in which the famous Franz Liszt played; and finally, Parliament, which interestingly resembles the British Parliament building and contains nearly 20kms of corridors! An unforgettable view of the city will open up from the fabulous Fisherman's Bastion, where you can enjoy the city at your fingertips. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 12 Friday 14 August, 2020 Bratislava, Slovakia
This afternoon explore Bratislava, where you will witness historic and modern landmarks of the city such as the St. Martin's Cathedral, the city walls, the Presidential Palace, plus spectacular views from the Slavin Monument and the castle area. The city is often associated with chocolate, so feel free to experience this sweet delight. Take a pleasant stroll through the old streets, or why not take the time to soak in the atmosphere in one of the quaint cafés. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 13 Saturday 15 August, 2020 Melk, Austria
Located in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage ‘Wachau Valley', the town of Melk has been a spiritual and cultural centre of Austria for more than 1000 years. It is best-known for its impressive baroque-style, Benedictine monastery known as Melk Abbey which is also one of Austria's great cultural highlights and one of Europe's largest abbeys. Since the 12th century, a school has been connected with the monastery, and valuable manuscripts have been collected here, which have ultimately helped to create an absolutely breath-taking library that you can see within the abbey chambers. This morning we arrive back into Engelhartszell. After disembarking, we will travel by coach to Prague, where we will stay the next three nights. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 15 Monday 17 August, 2020 Prague
This morning we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Prague. We will pass the Estates Theatre, where Mozart conducted the premiere of his opera Don Giovanni in 1787, then head into the Old Town Square, the medieval heart of Prague, and learn about the city's thousand-year-old history. We will see the beautiful Astronomical Clock and the exquisite Charles Bridge, and visit the elegant Jewish Quarter and Wenceslas Square, the scene of the 1969 Czech Uprising and 1987 Velvet Revolution. In the afternoon, we travel to the top of Hradčany, Prague's Castle District, where we will enjoy stunning panoramic views. We walk past the famous castle guards and into Prague Castle with our guide to learn about the statues and monuments and hear exciting tales of myth and legend. We see St. George's Basilica, the oldest building still inside the castle today, which dates back to 920AD. We also see the impressive St. Vitus Cathedral, celebrated as one of the finest Gothic buildings in the world, which was begun in the 14th century and finally completed in the 20th century. Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
Cruise Offers (ABN64 005 817 078) is the tour organiser. A-ROSA DONNA /STELLA is operated by A-Rosa and the fly/ cruise arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions and general information detailed in the A-Rosa brochure 2020. All passengers must complete and sign the Cruise Offers International booking form.
The tour costs are based on airfare, shipping, general transport, accommodation costs and foreign exchange rates at 20 August 2019. Cruise Offers International reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within 90 days of departure from Australia.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:
A deposit of $1500 per person should be sent with a completed Cruise Offers International booking form that lists your requested cabin category. As soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually within 24 hours), a cruise confirmation advice will be posted to the client. The confirmation advice will contain all details. Final payments are due to be paid to Cruise Offers International 90 days prior to the commencement of the A-Rosa cruises. A 1.5% administration fee will be added to payments by credit card.

The cruise is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.
All passengers will require a valid passport. If you are not an Australian passport holder check with Cruise Offers International for visa requirements.
Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident, death etc.
Passengers qualify for a 30kg free baggage allowance on flights to join or return from the cruise.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS AND CONDITIONS:
The fly/cruise arrangements have been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less than the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking 90 days from the date of departure, Cruise Offers International reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified fare.
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
Cruise Offers (ATAS No. A10538) is the tour organiser. Cruise Offers, its agents, officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to, or in connection with these fly/cruises, shall act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, including transportation by ship, restaurants, or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company or person rendering any services included in fly/ cruises, or by act of God. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery break-down, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. Baggage is at owners’ risk throughout the fly/cruise. The passage contract between the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of this fly/cruise and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any fly/cruise and/or make such changes in the fly/cruises as may be found desirable or necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the fly/cruise. DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Cruise Offers to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Cruise Offers acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation and other services that comprise the tour. Cruise Offers may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which Cruise Offers reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Cruise Offers your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Cruise Offers any cost thereof and you indemnify Cruise Offers in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Cruise Offers advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such good or service may become required.
