The second of Holland America Line's signature-class ships, ms Nieuw Amsterdam celebrates historic New York City, once called Nieuw Amsterdam, with its inspired design and an art collection valued at more than $3 million. A beautifully appointed midsized ship with elegant lines, she proudly reflects more than 140 years of Dutch seafaring tradition. There are ten delicious dinning venues and the wonderfully relaxing Greenhouse Spa. With sophisticated décor and amenities, staterooms provide a welcoming haven at the end of an eventful day, designed with thoughtful modern touches such as bedside USB ports, frameless shower doors and customized wood cabinets. Dazzling entertainment options abound on board Nieuw Amsterdam. The new Lincoln Center Stage and Billboard Onboard venues join the already popular B.B. King's Blues Club for a wonderful "Music Walk" experience.
Mike Perso makes getting up in the mornings a little easier for Melbournians as host of the More Music Breakfast Show weekdays from 5.30am to 9.00am. With 2019 marking his 40th year in radio, Mike has worked in numerous cities for multiple networks as an on-air announcer and in programming, promotions and marketing and has been host of the smooth 91.5 More Music Breakfast Show since 2012. Mike has been with his partner Jac for over 20 years and has three sons. A keen cyclist, bush walker and cross country skier, Mike juggles his radio career with family commitments, devotion to the Carlton Football Club, life in Melbourne's inner west and a couple of way too energetic dogs.
